Tailwheel Flying

Beyond many hours in Cubs, I've flown all sorts of taildraggers and have LOVED every minute of it.  I'd rather fly a taildragger than anything else.  The fun and the challenge are unbeatable in my book.  What I've started to notice, though, is that the number of pilots I know that fly them seems to be getting less and less.  There seems to be a major lack of tailwheel training out there.  Are people just losing interest in this type of flying?
